Talk: Communicating with Young Children

January 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

In the first six years, language blossoms effortlessly if children are immersed in rich, human conversation. Too often, we mistake their silence for a lack of understanding. True language growth comes from sharing experiences, noticing the world together with children, and finding delight in words. By creating an environment in which conversation flows naturally, we can bridge lost opportunities and nurture the full joy of communication with these young children.
