Workshop: Building Bridges: Language in the Casa

February 14 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Language in the Montessori Casa is more than stories we tell and the poems that we recite. It is a living exchange between children and adults in the environment. We know that conversations, shared experiences, and responding to the world around us strengthen vocabulary and fuel the imagination.

Talk: Raising Confident Children

February 27 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Confidence can be built only through real experiences. When children explore their environment, when they hear the buzzing of an insect, when they walk on an uneven path, when they encounter a prickly plant, they gain resilience and trust in their own abilities. Fear for their safety, though well-meaning, can cause an obstacle to their development. By offering both safety and freedom, we can help them to meet challenges, solve problems, and step into life with courage, ready to face the joys and tests of the world.

The program is to equip parents of infants to holistically support the development of the child.

Talk: Exploring Freedom

April 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Freedom is not the absence of guidance. All living beings, when free to follow their nature, reach their full potential. For young children, the freedom to choose leads naturally to understanding rules, respecting boundaries, and developing inner discipline. These are not opposing forces but harmonious companions. In a Montessori environment we offer real choices and meaningful work, we help children become self-motivated, respectful, and deeply connected to life.

Talk: Significance of Good Manners

May 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Living happily with others requires more than polite words—it grows from genuine care and consideration. True good manners are rooted in empathy: noticing the needs of others, acting with thoughtfulness, and seeking harmony. In the Montessori environment, these seeds are planted early, through daily experiences in community. The children live in culture of giving and receiving kindness, and they experience mutual respect. It prepares them to enter a wider social life with poise and confidence.
