Today we have lost Kumar sir, one of the founders of Navadisha. I have known and worked with Kumar for over 30 years. He was a dear colleague and respected mentor. His commitment to Montessori education, to the growth of the school, the well being of the children was deep and intense. His sense of social justice and equity have guided Navadisha to be an inclusive school and to break barriers among people. I mourn Kumar’s loss. At Supraja which grew out of the work begun at Navadisha we must draw from his quiet achievements to carry forward his legacy and continue the work that he helped establish in Chennai.
