On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Supraja Montessori Study Centre had the delight of hosting AMI trainers from across the world. These special visitors were in Chennai to attend the International Trainers Meeting, and they made time to visit our centre.

Around 90 trainers from 26 countries joined us, representing the age levels of 0–3, 3–6, 6–12, and 12–18. One group visited for a couple of hours in the morning, and another group visited in the afternoon. The entrance was beautifully decorated with fresh mango leaves, and guests were greeted in the traditional way, with jasmine garlands and warm smiles.

During their visit, both groups toured the institute, admired both the 3-6 and 6-12 environments, exchanged insights, and offered kind words of appreciation. Over cups of fragrant masala chai and little bowls of sundal, old friends reconnected while new bonds were formed.

For the Supraja trainers, it was a proud and heart-warming moment to welcome their colleagues from around the world. Our trainers in training formed a cheerful, welcoming, and send-off committee. We sent each guest home with a traditional little bag of betel leaves, betel nuts, turmeric, a banana, and a small stainless steel box of peanut candy.

Many photos captured the spirit of the day — joy, camaraderie, and shared purpose. Though a few dear friends were missed, it was truly an occasion to remember for everyone at Supraja Montessori Study Centre.
