Montessori examinations are organised to create an interwoven community. The students of each course get an opportunity to meet trainers from other parts of India and around the globe. The presence of external examiners leads to trainers exchanging ideas, affording the intermingling of Montessori voices speaking for children. Students welcomed into the community through the process of oral examinations bring their freshness and commitment to the work of building an awareness of child development.

We are lucky to have had Teenaz Reporter, an AMI external examiner affiliated with the Montessori Training and Research Trust in Hyderabad, with us in Chennai to assess our 21st cohort of the 3-6 teacher training course. Here is the letter Ms Reporter wrote to the students of the course for their graduation on April 4, 2025.

Dear Trainers, Students and the Families,

Hearty Congratulations!!

It has been an immense pleasure meeting you all and getting to listen to your thoughts and ideas on the Montessori philosophy.

It was so clear and evident to all of us Examiners, when each of you spoke, that you have absorbed the love, enthusiasm and joy for the work from Hema, Ramya, Rukku, Ruby and all the others who have supported you in your journey.

Today you are part of a large global Montessori family. You have joined AMI’s social movement of peace through education. You have chosen to be the voice of children everywhere. You have accepted the call to action and to protect the rights of the children. Each of you in your own way will change and affect the world you live in and I wish you the courage and the strength to change it for the better and for the future of our children.

Find the love in your work and love the work you do. Have faith and believe in the potential of the child. Trust that it is the child who has the power to unite all of mankind.  Believe that your work is important and that every little action can make a difference. This belief will bring you back to work everyday with the same enthusiasm that you are feeling right now at this moment having completed your course.

Your work has just started. This is the beginning of something new and something profound. It will have its ups and downs. It’s not going to be all easy. But it is going to be deeply satisfying.

You are privileged to have had the opportunity to learn at Supraja. Carry the wisdom and the love for the child in your heart forever.

I wish you all the very best and hope to cross paths with you sometime in the future.

Congratulations to all the family members of the students.

Congratulations to all at Supraja for a successful course and wishing you many many more to come.

All the very best!!!

With much love
